Last Friday marked the successful launch of our awareness campaign, Eco-Sanjeevani, aimed at enlightening young minds about the benefits of organic farming and the importance of consuming food produced sustainably. Our inaugural session took place at Acharya Bhikshu Public School, Johari Bazar, Jaipur.
This endeavor wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of Kapish Sharma, our campaign owner, who, despite undergoing recent surgery, played a pivotal role in its inception. Special thanks also go to our passionate teammate, Rishika Jain, whose selfless efforts greatly contributed to the project’s success. And, Swati Sharma, mind behind the campaign, and speaker for the event
.Collaborating with Ankita Kumawat, Farmer and Director at Goratan Products Pvt. Ltd., enriched our campaign by providing valuable insights from a farmer’s perspective as a co-speaker. Ankita’s presence captivated the audience, leading many to express interest in visiting her farm and purchasing organic products.
Our presence at Acharya Bhikshu Public School left a lasting impact, thanks to the support of Mrs. Pooja Sharma, the school’s principal, who graciously provided us with a platform to engage with both staff and students. It was inspiring to witness the students’ health-conscious choices, with many already embracing alternatives to conventional beverages like Bournvita, opting instead for healthier options like ‘turmeric’ or ‘Gur‘.
Our vision is simple yet profound: if you can’t go to the farm, we’ll bring the farm and farmer to you. This ethos underscores our commitment to bridging the gap between consumers and farmers, fostering a planet-centric approach to lifestyle choices.
As we continue our journey, we remain committed to conducting an impact assessment to measure the effectiveness of our efforts. Stay tuned for updates!
